Rebel Bingo

By the early hours of this morning, I sported some pretty impressive body ink: an anchor, a bowtie, some barbed wire – and I’m sure there was an obligatory pecker somewhere too.

This was the aftermath of Rebel Bingo, a twist on the original game usually associated with blue rinses. The rules are the same – with the addition of pumping music, scantily-clad announcers and a lot of gin and tonic. It was a little different to the normal night of playing something like juegos bingo online and alcoholic drinks at home, each has their benefits I suppose!

We played four games in total. After two people scored a line of randomly-picked numbers, they had an onstage battle of some description – who could pop a balloon first, rock paper scissors, that sort of thing.

Our group failed to win anything (I’d had my eyes on that bike), but it was so much fun. And after the games were over, we used the ‘dobber’ bingo pens to show off our impressive artistic skills.

Today’s the day I found out I love Rebel Bingo. It was a brilliant twist on the whole club-night-out and suitably messy.
